In my life....


I've always been an artist - no matter what I've been doing professionally.  After graduating from Loras College in Dubuque Iowa I've worked in a variety of media, but primarily three-dimensional works in pottery, basketry, and jewelry.  Art and computers have been my passion throughout my life.  I've been fortunate being employed to slave over hot computers :), and work with email servers, security, and storage. 

My focus on jewelry came about over 10 years ago when my husband gave me the most beautiful silver combs. I wore them everywhere. Then came the day one of the combs was lost and never found. Searching everywhere for a replacement, but after months I had not found the kind of quality I wanted. Jewelry of high quality, well made, with gemstones or pearls.

I began looking for the best materials I could find.  After months of research to find the perfect comb, and trying each one, searching out only the most reliable suppliers of gemstones and Swarovski crystals I started creating combs and other jewelry for myself.  It wasn't long before I was creating jewelry for friends and selling through my eBay store.

These pages offer you some of my favorite designs.  As a jewelry artist, I progress and grow in different directions.  With each new discovery I incorporate newly acquired skills into the items I offer. It has been a wonderful journey, I'm looking forward to learning still more.
